Program Director/Dance Instructor

Teresa Jordan

I have been dancing literally since I was 7. I first started out in ministry 20 years ago as a Choir Director in Chicago. I have directed choirs for most of those 20 years. I also have sung Praise and Worship and have sung backup behind some of the Great National Gospel Finest.

I am most excited about what God is doing in the area of Dance. I am the owner/choreographer of Righteous Dance Company which is a community based dance organization.  I am also the founder and Choreographer of the Award Winning Holy Ground Dance Team, which is a local Christian performing group. I also teach Praise Dance/Liturgical dance and also Holy Hip-Hop at one of the best Christian Schools in Seattle.   My purpose is to let people know that dance is an outward expression of your inward relationship with Jesus. When we dance for Jesus, it is our heart that is speaking through the movement. The movement is just an extension of the heart. Real dance starts from the heart and then flows to the body. The body does what the heart is saying. When we dance for Jesus it is our love for Him that is being poured out through our body. Our heart is in complete love and adoration for Him, so our body reacts by moving. Because Christ died for us we can truly thank Him by expressing our love and gratitude to Him through dance. He who created the foundations of the world came in the form of a man and died that we might live. Surely this is a reason for anyone to express his or her heartfelt thanks to Him for what He has done by dancing for Him.

Piano/Drum Instructor

Rev. Jimmie Jordan

I have 8 years of experience of playing the keyboard / piano.  I have served as a church musician for 4 years, I have been a Director of Music for 2 years, conducting Praise and Worship rehearsals, Choir rehearsals, and Band rehearsals.  My greatest strength is piano theory.  The benefits of piano theory teaches you how to play chords and songs accurately.  It also gives you the ability to communicate with other musicians.  Can you imagine being able to play a song in all 12 keys with ease?

Come, and learn the language of music.  You never know where your musical talents will lead you.
